Tourism
The North West Region of Victoria encompasses diverse centres of population, geology, landscapes, natural habitats and flora and fauna. Compensating a lack of coastal area, lands adjacent to the Murray River contrast with semi-arid deserts, dryland farm country and wetlands in the south.
One can find bustling commercial and tourist centres, quaint rural and historic towns and desert solitude. The various population areas of the North West have their own culture but have in common the traits of country people thus making the region a welcoming and friendly environment.
