Wartook Valley

Overview
Wartook Valley is located on the Northern and Western slopes of the Grampians National Park. The Valley has numerous locations where you can experience magnificent sunrises, sunsets and brilliant night skies. This part of the Grampians offers a nature based filming experience with walks and four wheel drive tracks to experience as well as abundant wilderness, wildflowers, waterfalls, wildlife and rock formations.
The Wartook Valley is where all the magnificent mountain views, abundant kangaroos, emus and other wildlife are located.
Wartook Valley offers year round horse riding, rock climbing, fishing, mountain biking, quad bike tours and wildlife watching.
History
The area surrounded by the Wartook Valley is steeped in aboriginal and pioneer history. For many thousands of years Aboriginal people have lived in the Grampians. Concealed in the mountains of Wartook Valley are several Aboriginal art sites open and accessible to the public.
